Koniag is a for-profit native corporation: their primary function is to support their shareholders and provide them with dividends. Koniag actively supports educational, financial involvement and social programs for their shareholders.

Their primary objective was to improve the professional image of the corporation as viewed by its shareholders and the business community. Consideration was given to the design and selection of finishes to create an environment that reflects their native culture. Through the use of natural materials, custom cabinetry and display of their distinctive artwork collection, this goal was achieved.

We worked closely with Koniag and the general contractor to develop the design concept, adjust the project scope to accommodate budget constraints and implement a two phase construction and occupancy schedule. The success of this project is shared by all of the team members that participated with a "win win" attitude.
